Welcome Debbie Rank!

Welcome to Debbie Rank, our Director of Christian Education.  Debbie began her work at Good Shepherd on June 1st and has been getting acclimated to her new position.  She helped at Vacation Bible School this summer and looks forward to getting to know more people as the summer goes on.  Planning for fall activities is beginning and we all look forward to having her here.

Sunday School Celebration

Mark your calendar - Sunday, May 16th is the last day of Sunday school for this school year.  Parents and Sunday school volunteers, please join us at 9:15am as we sing songs from this year, test our knowledge of what we learned, and enjoy an end-of-year party in Fellowship Hall with refreshments!  All are welcome - please join us!

Good Friday Children's Service

Join us for our annual Good Friday Children's Service designed for children age 4 through 5th grade on Friday April 2nd, at 10:30am.  The service will last about an hour and include songs, a craft and discovering what really happened on this Holy Day.

SPARK Sunday School

We just started a new Bible lesson - Jesus having dinner with Simon the Pharisee.  You can find it in Luke 7:36 - 50.  Simon invites Jesus to his home and an uninvited guest shows up and ministers to Jesus.  Ask your child what they have learned so far - we will be talking about Jesus and Simon for the next two Sundays.

During Lent, we will be talking about the story of the Last Supper as well as the Holy Week and Easter stories.
